Den Hartog Industries
offers our customers the latest in finishing technology with the
addition of powder coating facilities. With the new powder
coating capabilities on site, we can now offer the preferred finish
on all Ace Roto-Mold tank stands, skids, hoops, and cradles.
We can also powder coat the custom metal projects sold under the
Sowjoy brand and all custom metal fabrication products. Den Hartog
Industries also offers powder coating as a separate service for
any metal manufacturer.

1-Part Placement
Parts are hooked onto
the track that will bring the parts through the entire powder coating
process. Several sets of parts can be loaded onto the track and
then moved on to the next station when it becomes available.

2- Chemical Rinse
Parts are moved into the wash facility where
they are first cleaned by a chemical wash to remove dirt, oil and
grease. The second step washes the parts with a chemical to
prep it for powder application. |

3- Powder Application
The prepped parts then
move to the spray booth where a trained applicator sprays the parts
with powder. The powder is a mixture of finely ground particles
of resin and pigments that are electrostatically charged.
The charged powder particles adhere to the electrically grounded
surfaces of the metal.

4- Curing Oven
After powder application
is completed, the parts move into a curing oven where the powder
permanently fuses to the surface, forming a smooth coating.

5- Finished Parts
The finished parts leave
the oven with a protective coating that prevents scratching, chipping,
and fading. The coating helps prevent corrosion and rusting.

Custom Color
Den Hartog Industries
can powder coat your parts in any custom color. We powdercoat all
of our own stands, skids, and hoops and can powdercoat your custom
metal projects. We also offer powder coating as a separate service.
